Rib Separation

Cause:

The belt is not positioned correctly. One of the belt grooves is positioned outside the pulley groove, causing a belt tooth to be positioned on the pulley without a supporting groove.

Solution:

The belt life is severely limited, so the belt should be replaced immediately. Make sure that all the ribs of the replacement belt fit into the pulley grooves. Check the correct installation of the belt according to the instructions.
