Causes:
- Failure to use a belt of the appropriate size.
- Defects in the belt tensioners.
- Wear and tear of the foley.
- Presence of impurities and dirt in the foley.
- Inconsistency and mismatch in the foleys.
Solution:
- Use a belt of the appropriate type and size.
- Check and adjust the belt tension.
- Replace the pulley.
- Clean the pulley from rust and dirt in the grooves.
- Re-adjust the pulleys.
