Causes:

• Shock caused by reverse gear.
• A foreign object getting stuck in the alternator (the main reason for this is a broken alternator belt).
• Oil leak.

Solution:

• Do not use reverse gear at high speeds.
• Prevent foreign objects from entering the timing belt frame space.
• Ensure correct belt installation.
