Timing Belt Breakage

Causes:

• If the belt threads are cut straight, the belt probably has holes.
• This phenomenon can be caused by irregularly cut belt threads, excessive shock, foreign object ingress, or belt bending prior to installation.

Solution:

• Ensure correct belt installation.
• Adjust the belt tension to the appropriate amount.
• Remove excess material and check timing belt frames.
